" My boyfriend's family have been Golo about 7 times in the last 20 years. Naturally they recommended this hotel.
The hotel has a beautiful view of the harbour, especially during sunset. It been renovated recently. Room is clean and simple (but nice!), with air conditioning. Staff are very friendly and helpful. For sure we will come back again. "

" No TV in room, but with this kind of view and a pool, who needs it. Feels very secluded, but it's close to town. Staff at the front desk was very warm and welcoming.
Great little hidden gem with a local feel to it.
-1 star for only having 2 double beds, would have enjoyed a queen. "

" Golo Hilltop is één van de betere hotels op het eiland Flores. Het hotel ligt op een heuvel en heeft een mooi uitzicht over een baai. Rondom is een fijne verzorgde tuin met heel wat bloemen. Een zeer vriendelijke ontvangst na een vermoeiende rit over barslechte wegen van Ruteng naar Labuan Bajo. Het zwembad was echt uitnodigend. Ik verbleef er 2 nachten in een heel mooie kamer met alle nodige voorzieningen. Zelfs een waterketel voor koffie en thee was aanwezig. Kraaknette badkamer. Echt niets op aan te merken. De Nederlandse eigenares maakt graag een praatje met de gasten. Ze tracht al je kleine beslommeringen op te lossen. Zo was het tijdelijk opslaan van de bagage tijdens mijn tweedaagse boottocht naar de eilanden Rinca en Komodo en het in bewaring nemen van mijn dokumenten zo geregeld. Ook de taxi naar het vliegveld bij mijn vertrek was prima verzorgd. Het restaurant heeft een beperkte kaart met lekkere gerechten aan normale prijzen. Het ontbijt was ruim voldoende en gevarieerd. Een echte aanrader. Hier hoop ik nog eens terug te komen. (verblijf 20 en 22 sept 2014) "
