" Nice and relaxing place with helpful staff.
BUT, it is a bit pricey for what you get (no hot water, worst water pressure ever and not enough motorbikes - although they help you to get one)
Was a bit disappointed by the breakfast as well. "

" Great place super friendly owners! Seaview with a nice garden. Very beautiful homemade products (baskets and bags). Owners run this homestay but also a shelter for handicapped people. You can rent a motorbike and do daytours to koka beach or mount egon. "

" Price depends on AirBnB. NGO Homestay ideas. Our is 250.000,- free flow tea coffee and bread. They provide towel. Cant really snorkel here.
Ibu Susi and Pak Herman were really helpful with our destination to go around Maumere.
Trip to Moni by travel car is 75.000 (3hr ride, timing is depend on the travel car.. ours was 5pm)
Trip to Moni by public bus is 30.000 (anytime, from 7am to 4pm),
Bike rent can be arranged inside the homestay. 100.000,- from 7am to 7pm, not 24hr like in Bali. Make sure to check both wheels. "

" Pantai Paris is AMAZING! It's a small and simple homestay, but an amazing value with a big bathroom (and the best water pressure I've experienced in Flores). Fan only but I didn't have any problems. I stayed in the backpackers room, but had it to myself one of the nights so it was as if I had a private room! Even when it's full, it holds a maximum of only four people. The homestay is right on the beach with a garden right outside. I wasn't blown away by the restaurants nearby, but the food stalls in town were great. By far the BEST part about Pantai Paris, though, is Susi. She's so incredibly kind and thoughtful, and helped me when I broke my phone (her family drove me all over Maumere to try to get it fixed and eventually to buy a new one). And that's not even mentioning her NGO. I got there on a Sunday and excitedly joined in on the beach clean up! She also hires people with disabilities to recycle garbage and plastic into usable bags and baskets. She took me with her to the Tuesday pasar alok and I saw quite a few women with her bags there. She's really making a difference and does her best to educate people and lead by example, even when vegetable vendors scoff at her for refusing plastic bags for her produce. I miss Susi already and I can't wait to come back to Maumere! "
