" My go to place for art materials since secondary school days(20ys ago.!)... Till today still try to pop by when i can for art materials. The Popular Bookstore is also the biggest, lots of choices n not forgetting the scent of books plus CDs which is getting hard to come by.. Students who are looking for study materials like worksheets to practice can also go to Bras Basah.. Only thing should give this building more revamps, places for students to sit n do their works n easily get materials in case anytime short of.. "

" This a local shopping centre in the area. There are a couple of eateries on the ground floor. It used to be known for Chinese bookstores but now has a selection of different stores. There are also several stores that sell designer items and art and craft supply stores. These are my favourite places here and their selection is huge and not expensive. Like most places it does not open until late morning so don't go their before 10:00am. "
