" Sri Muthu Mariamman @ Chitty Village, is a Hindu Temple dating back to 1822, when it was built by the Chitty People.
The temple is one of 3 temple within the border of the Chitty Village, and best know for the "Dato Chachar" festival (Mengamay in Chitty-creol), the annual devoations to Goddess Mariamman.
You can get a good peak through the gates but it is open for prayer twice a day at 7am & 6.30pm (friday 7pm) if you wish to get inside.
