" the room was so small that i had ahard time going to the other side of the bed as the wall tv stuck out so close to bed toilet bowl placed so close to wall ihad a hard time sitting on it and when i sat on it my knees touched the glass panel very poor toilet water poured out of shower area to outside of toiletarea onto corridor very poor make of room no where to put bag on no side table this is single superior room good bed very nice staff "

" Its great. They have friendly staff. Service is good. Its clean and decent. Good for just a overnight staycation. And its cheaper than most hotels. it is actually not that dirty like what people think it is. "

" Bad experience. Nothing was explained properly when checking in so we could make any informed decisions. Friends came over and were denied entry! Had to end up standing at the back alley at 2am spending time with friends, while paying for this stupid hotel. Concierge was of no help at all and even rude. Book only if you want a big headache during your staycays. "

" I always stay in this hotel everytime I come to Singapore.
This place is one of the best you can get with budget price.
It's quite far from Orchard road, but it close to the beach (East coast park - it also have a very nice food court), close to the airport, and Joo Chiat road area also have things you can explore (unique architecture, restaurants, stores, museum, etc). If you want to experience how the local buy groceries and have breakfast, not too far from the hotel there's Geylang Serai Wet Market where you can shop and eat, and the price isn't expensive, better to go there before 10am.
The hotel is clean, aircon work very well, no smell. Bed, linen and pillow are clean, bathroom is clean, nothing broken, and the towels are clean and soft. You'll get 2 bottles of water for free and new towels everyday.
The only thing that bother me is sometimes you can hear noise from the room next to you, and there's no view you can enjoy from your window.
But overall, this place is really a nice place. "

" Interesting location in heritage town, great decor for the price, choose premier room with bathtub in the room. Decent WiFi and lots of great places to eat. 24 hour supermarket next door. Very good value for money "

" Boutique hotel in middle of Joo Chiat Road, a Heritage Peranakan area in Singapore. Small room but adequate and good service. Bed was a little hard for me, pillows were thin. I like the area as walking around for food, bars, supermarket are easy. "

Dampness and termite issues - at least with some rooms.
Poor Staff - have to cover up with lies sometimes. Looks like they are fedup with questions (one or two exceptions are there).
Seems like renovated recently but they made (too many) small rooms with out caring customers needs. Without any prejudice, I think they soon will have to redo it with more sun hitting the walls to avoid dampness and termite issues and leaving more space for rooms. One extra star for one friendly staff (indian looking guy) who would smile always and would ask you for any help with luggage or taxi. Thanks "
