Invented in Finland and patented in Europe, US, China and other countries, this technology has been utilized since 2008 and continuously developed and improved to remediate soil, water and ground water from aliphatic hydrocarbon, aromatics, BTEX, PAH and chlorinated hydrocarbons. It also can be used to remediate heavy metals contaminations. The benefits of ekogrid system is eliminating land clearing, excavation, segregation, transportation and expensive remediation of hydrocarbon impacted soil.
