This restaurant will give you majestic view of Yogyakarta below and mount Merapi from a far. The fresh air, rustic garden and javanese interior were very complimenting to a romantic ambience. Visit this place during sunset at 5pm and you will never forget the experience.
On weekends the restaurant served buffet lunch & dinner at IDR 250k net per person. Frankly, the food has not much variety & the taste could be better. If I may suggest, Abhayagiri should serve more traditional Javanese food instead of western food. "

" I love this place, when sunny days we can see beautiful sunset. We also can see prambanan temple from abhayagiri. They have coffe, moctail, mineral water, soft drinks, snack, salad, soups, fish and seadood, froed rice, meat and lamb. They also have family package menu you can sharing plate up to 4 pax. My favorit menu are duck spring roll, sop buntut, ayam kampong abhayagiri, and for drink is plataran bells. I tried salad but i think they serve in little portion but its okay the taste is good. "

" This restaurant is a popular spot to enjoy sunset overlooking Borobudur Temple while having a meal or dinner. Since it's mostly outdoor, it's better to come here later in the afternoon when the weather cools off.
As I said earlier, this place is very popular so you will need to make reservation, especially during sunset, because people want to enjoy the view and many also come here to wait for the Ramayana ballet performance in the temple next to it.
As for the food, nothing really special and it's quite pricey for Jogjakarta. "
