Ticket price: Rp. 20k. (including local English tour guide).
Also there is a hotel nearby.
Need to open the eyes wide open, because the location is actually at back side. The front side is the shop. You just need to follow the small street. "

" Museum Batik dan Sulaman terletak di Jl. Dr. Sutomo No. 14 Yogyakarta. Berdiri pada tanggal
25 Mei 1977 menempati areal seluas 400m2. Koleksi yang dimiliki beraneka ragam kain batik
berupa kain panjang, sarung, selendang, tokwi/taplak dan sebagainya dengan motif gaya
Yogyakarta, Surakarta, Madura dan tempat-tempat lain di Indonesia.
Koleksi lainnya berupa peralatan membatik mulai dari chanting, cap beraneka motif, bahan
pewarna dan parafin (malam). Koleksi batik tertua dibuat pada tahun 1780. Dalam
perkembangannya museum ini juga mengoleksi karya sulam acak karya Ibu Dewi Nugroho
yang berjumlah sekitar 1236 buah. Pengelola museum juga dapat memberikan fasilitas
pelatihan (workshop) membatik bagi pengunjung yang berminat. "
