Kagyu Samye Dzong is a Dublin-based Tibetan Buddhist Meditation Centre, founded in 1977. It is the oldest established Buddhist Centre in Ireland, and is part of the Karma Kagyu Lineage of Tibetan Buddhism. Our Spiritual Director is His Holiness the 17th Gyalwa Karmapa, Orgyen Trinley Dorge.
In Kagyu Samye Dzong Dublin we present a wide and varied programme of activities: Meditation, Teachings on Buddhism, regular weekly programme of silent and chanting practices, visits from Tibetan lamas, lay teachers, monks and nuns, mindfulness programmes, Tibetan medicine clinic, Tibetan language classes, interfaith community gatherings and childrens group - the 'Superheroes'.
Anyone is welcome to visit the Centre - no need to be Buddhist.
