We are currently in the process of developing ‘An Chistin’ a state of the art food training and development kitchen in a vacant section of the premises. The overall aim is to assist unemployed people in the area of Castlerea and surrounding areas which are not otherwise catered for and to aid them to move towards employment by providing community based training and work experience leading to a nationally recognized qualification.

By securing funding to provide a full time QQI Level 5 Professional Cookery Course from GRETB with the assistance of Roscommon Leader Partnership we can look forward to providing up to 14 students a year with the opportunity of gaining a level 5 award thus enabling them to continue with further education or taking up a position in the hospitality industry.
