These adventures have been designed for the mature adventurer who prefers a slightly slower pace, further rest days and more creature comforts. Many of our trips are not designated over 55’s status, however many of our adventures are suitable for this age group. At Adventure Holidays we often prefer to think that health, fitness and attitude is more relevant than age!

You love your independence but don’t want to be totally on your own? A self-guided biking or walking trip is perfect for you. They combine the hallmarks of a small group tour, great accommodation and spectacular routes but with maximum flexibility as you travel at your own pace: setting off whenever you’re ready, choosing when and where to stop for lunch, and planning the day around your own personal agenda. We provide comprehensive walking route notes as well as proper maps, so you need never worry about getting lost on our self guided holidays! You’re in safe hands.

All our guided holidays are perfect for people who want an escorted tour in a small group of like-minded people There are typically 6-10 people in a group. All of our guides are based locally and are our local partners. They are all passionate about their homelands, and committed to sharing their experiences with you.
