There is also a beautiful reflection garden dedicated to the memory of the late Cardinal Archbishop of Paris, Jean-Marie Lustiger, who was a regular visitor. Although the church dates to the crusades, the community has been present only since the 1970s. "

" Saint Mary of the Resurrection church, where the disciples of Emmaus might have met Jesus walking back down from Jerusalem. Marvelous fortified romanic style church of the Hospitalers knights, 1142, partly covered with outstanding byzantine style frescoes made for the Middle Age Latin monks. Excellent welcome, beautiful garden. "

" A crusader church from 1141 from the Hospitaller Knights build over a well which you can see in the crypt, the lower floor. For many many years, read centuries, the church was used as a barn which did not do much good to the fresco's which are painted all over the church. The church, monastery, is run by Benedict monks who usually dress in black habits. In Abu Gosh they dress in white. Next to the entrance there is an inscription that the 10th legion of the Romans was here. In the shop you buy ceramics and liquor made in this monastery. "
