What is, in honor of the Corona, IELTS people have developed an alternative test known as IELTS INDICATOR. It's the same as IELTS Academic test and they do it online from the computer at home. Fun? Partly. There is a not long list of universities that accept this replacement - see link in the first comment. In addition, there is no test similar to those who need the IELTS General Training test for immigration purposes.

So what do we do?
1. If you are in the process of acceptance for studies, check if the desired study institutions receive the results of the IELTS indicator test with the link below. If so, cool. If not - check if you can take a TOEFL test instead. Most places are given, and this test is much more available - it can be done from home or as usual.
2. for immigrants to Australia and New Zealand - you can take a TOEFL test.
3. for immigrants to Canada - you have to wait for the sky to open to fly abroad to take an IELTS test.
