W2ISE (Worldwide Women in Israel Supporting Eachother), aims to provide immigrant women in Israel the social support that many of us lack and crave when moving here, as many of us leave behind our social and personal networks. Through basic information about each female member, we are able to provide them with content, channels, groups, events, etc. Doing so, we hope to foster and build connections and more importantly, friendships, between like-minded women who now call Israel their home.Relocating to another country - especially such a turbulent one as Israel; is daunting at times for anyone. Many organizations, both businesses and nonprofits alike, already exist here to assist Olim/Olot in their adjustment to new life in this country. Yet one of the major factors that enables anyone to cope with their environment is not typically addressed: the social/friendship aspect. Having moved to Israel from Los Angeles in 2019, Natalie (Rhone) Agler, MSc. kept coming across social media posts of girls seeking friends. Being an Olah Chadasha herself, Natalie fully understood the hardships that accompany an Olah, especially since people constantly move to and away from Israel. Furthermore, she understood the need to have her own friends and support system outside of those from her husband's friends and family.This desire fueled her inspiration to create the "Tel Aviv Meet-Up" WhatsApp group which gave rise to weekly meet-ups, with the first one taking place in June 2020. Through this group, Natalie built up her own personal social network in Israel and became very close friends with many new girls, one of which is Maya Sudit, who made Aliyah in 2013 from New York City.Due to the sheer growth of the "Tel Aviv Meet-Up" WhatsApp group, and in order to continue to tackle the social/friendship aspect of making Aliyah, Natalie and Maya together initiated W2ISE.
