ETHOS was formed in 2014 as a result of a feasibility study completed in partnership with a Pharmaceutical company in the interests of furthering medical science / MedTech innovation.ETHOS was formed from subject matter experts in the compliance requirements for the NHS covering security, information governance (data protection toolkit formerly Information Governance Tool Kit), clinical safety and General Data Protection Regulations coming together. As a team we are best placed to provide instant expert recommendations to enable the software to be implemented at pace in the NHS.It is through these skills, managing and completing the implementation for the large pharmaceutical company across the NHS that ETHOS started.As former NHS employees we have an ethical approach to our work. We believe in a fair rate for our services and align to NHS agenda for change rate cards to allow any and all organisations to work with us. This has allowed us to evolve and grow with our health family connections by taking up the challenge of implementing, advising and generally helping those who need it.We all have over 15 years' experience across our service offerings and have a passion for all things in health software.Our Director for Patient Safety was part of the original clinical safety setup & authored the safety standards in their revised "plain English" format as they are published today. Having led clinical safety as Head of Safety Engineering in the NHS, we have the ability to ensure your products are safe. Expert knowledge of medical device regulation and the pathway from unregulated health IT to regulated medical software is offered as a core service.Our Director for Information Governance is an advisor to Dame Fiona Caldicott, the National Data Guardian and sits on her panel. He was the Director for a number of her reviews including the "Caldicott Report 2013" & "NHS Review of Data Security, Consent and Opt-Outs" and is an acknowledged expert across the UK.
