Motiv8 is an Isle of Man registered charity number 275. We offer free, confidential counselling and support to anyone impacted by their own or someone else's alcohol, drug, gambling or gaming use. We offer one to one counselling, a five point group work recovery programme, SMART recovery a mutual aid CBT based recovery programme, specialist services for alcohol, drugs, gambling and gaming and Psychological assessement. We have dedicated services for young people impacted by alcohol and drugs, YP @Motiv8. We also offer family interventions for parents and young children impacted by substances. To operate our service Motiv8 has to raise half its funds annually through grants and donations. Our services include: FAS - Family Addiction Service - for parents and children impacted by substance use. Funded by donationsYP@Motiv8 - A service dedicated to young people impacted by their own drug or alcohol use. Funded by donationsIsle of Man Gambling service - funded by donations from the IOM Gambling Industry. DrugAware- Our free confidential drug support serviceAlcohol Advisory Service- Our free confidential alcohol support service for anyone impacted by alcohol problems, including family members. Motiv8 Recovery Hub- a groupwork programme operating daily offering daily drop in support with a range of activities including the 5 point recovery groupwork programme, and SMART recovery. Funded by grants and donations.Education in schools on Gambling, Gaming, and Substance misuse. In 2018 we were awarded the title Charity of the year in the Isle of Man Newspapers 'Awards for Excellence'. All donations go towards providing support for those impacted by addictive behaviours.
