The CSR department of Balco organised a wall painting competition in Vedanta Study Centre for the volunteers of Project Connect where they had to paint the walls of the school. The purpose of the competition was to revamp the school with colourful and insightful walls. Students of the school also participated with the volunteers and enjoyed painting their school walls.

8 teams participated in the competition with great zeal. Paintings of save the earth, save water, solar system, learn, play and coexist etc. were painted

Balco Quiz Competition 2018 for major schools of Korba came to an exciting finish on the 23rd August 2018 as DPS Balco clinchéd the winning trophy. New Era progressive School, DPS, NTPC and KV, NTPC bagged the second, third and fourth position respectively. Mr Vikas Sharma, CEO & Director, Balco witnessed the Final Round and also distributed the prizes. Intriguing questions on Mr. Atal Bihari Bajpai Ji’s life, current affairs, science, sports, idioms, music recognition, mixed face round etc. tested the knowledge of the participants.
