" After taking a holiday package from Blue Poppy Holidays for a visit of 2 days to Valley of Flowers, Hemukunt Shaihb and Badrinath, I would say they didn't do a good job. We had took a super deluxe package and as per them in their website the rooms will be at least of 3 star. But, the rooms that were provided at Auli and Ghanghria were very bad and won't even consider to be a one star. In Auli we were put in huts run by Poppy Holidays. The room looked nice from outside, it was a small wood hut painted yellow and white. When we entered inside the room was very small and cozy. Myself and my wife loved it. But when we opened the blanket we were little taken aback. There were two dead cockroaches and spiders started coming out. I found a spider web between two cots. This indicated that the bed was not used for sometime and the hotel team didn't even think of cleaning it before the guests arrive. The food provided by the resort was good and tasty. The view is also excellent in the morning from the room. In ghanghria, we were put in a hotel called DEEPAK. This is the worst place you can get to stay at such high altitudes. The rooms were not clean, the blanket is very old and full of fungus and literally suffocates you. As per the hotel guys due to non-availability of sunlight during rainy season it takes 15 days for clothes to get dry. So, they said all blankets are like that mostly wet due to the weather and kept in such conditions that fungus can easily start developing in them. But irony of the situation is that they will dry your wet clothes and bags if you pay them 300rs per item. I was wondering can't they use the same technology to keep the blankets in good useable condition. I would suggest to carry sleeping bags if you want to have a proper sleep in Ghanghria. We were placed in the ground floor rooms and water was seeping in from the first floor floor. The restaurant run by DEEPAK is also very bad. The food is very unhygienic and caused stomach upset for me and my wife. Bathroom was not clean and pipes are always leaking water. We felt the Blue Poppy Holidays literally cheated us for the money they charged. The quality of service is extremely poor. They should have kept someone in charge at Ghanghria to address the situation as mobile communication is not available from Ghanghria. I wouldn't recommended Blue Poppy Holidays to anyone as their website only shows the marketing skills but the customer value and satisfaction they provide is absolutely zero. "
