" Harphool Jat Julaniwala (हरफूल जाट जुलाणीवाला) was a soldier, Born in village Barwas in tahsil Loharu of Bhiwani district in 1892 in the family of Ratna as per Haryana Abhilekhagar. According to some local people he was in Indrayan Pana of Barwas Bawani village and his father's name was Chatru Ram and Grandfather was Kita Ram. He was popularly known as Harphul Jat Julani Aala. On him Alah has been sung by many people in Haryana culture. He acted against the injustice to the community or individuals. He was considered as haryanvi version of 'Robinhood'.

Moved to Julani :
Later his ancestors migrated to village Julani, tahsil and district Jind. When they migrated to Julani some of his ancestors were still living in Barwas. When Harphool was a child the country faced a severe drought of 1899 called chhapana akal. His father was badly affected by plague during the famine and died. Harphool along with his maternal uncle moved to village Sandowa in Bhiwani district in search of livelihood where he stayed with his relatives. It is said that after death of his father his mother married with her devar Ratna. Finding life difficult at Sandowa the family came back to Julani. His close uncle denied him share in the land and conspired with villagers to get Harphool arrested by Jind Police. He was badly tortured by the police but released after some time.
A great protector of Cows :
He was a great protector of Cows. He destructed so many Boochadkhanas (Slaughter House) in which Cows were being killed. He had great respect for Cows and killed the people on a large scale those who slaughtered Cows. The Nain Khap of 52 villages awarded him title of Sawa Sher.
During this period he helped many poor people. Apart from his love for cows he was very supportive for the poor and oppressed people. He had great respect for the ladies. He provided instant justice to the poor people so much that he used to be called as a mobile court.

Honour :
There is a ragni sung by Azad Khanda, available on youtube, that mentions his name. One line from that ragni-
'Ek jatni ke issa chhora jaamya tha. ekle ne ghane hathe todd diye "
