St. Sebastians' Church Anepalaya was the first Syro-Malabar Parish to be founded in Bangalore.It was founded in 1979 as St. Sebastians' Association with the aim to promote the native prayer culture of the St. Thomas Christians of India. Having grown exponentially in Faith,Glory and Fellowship, it has now become an important milestone, in the history of the Syro Malabar Church. With 150 member families ,3 wards and 10 different associations, it has also become a melting point of culture and spirituality. Today it has been credited as an important achievement in the evangalization mission of the Syro-Malabar Church.
