About Nagaland Zoological Park, Rangapahar
Inaugurated on 28th August 2008.
A State run Wildlife Sanctuary, control and functioned by the "Department of Forest, Ecology, Wildlife and Environment" under the Government of Nagaland.
The zoo houses a variety of flora and fauna.

Description
The zoo provides an ideal spot for sightseeing, recreational activities and also people can see the animals in their exhibits.
Located at about 8km SE of the commercial city of Dimapur in Nagaland, this place presents "Far from the Madding Crowd" feeling.
"Deer Park" houses varieties of Deers, including Sambar Deer, Spotted Deer and Barking Deer.
A numerous collection of herbs and medicinal plants are maintained at "Herbal Garden" inside the zoo.
