The Doaba Public School, Dohlron came into existences in 1979 and its founder Lt. S Balwant Singh Sandhu, was a man of dynamism and vision who believes that education is the one and a critical input that can build a nation. Mrs. Balwinder Kaur Founder and Chairperson of this institute is also committed to provide high quality education and immense opportunities for development of students in very conducive environment. The school is running under Doaba Education Society Mahilpur. This society decided to set an educational venture to provide quality education at affordable price and as a result school is progressing day by day and year by year. The first principal of school was S. Joginder Singh ji and then in 1981 Mr. Harjinder Singh Gill was appointed as a principal of this school.
