University College of Engineering formerly known as Govt. Engineering College Kota is one of the prestigious autonomous technical institutes in North India. It houses the headquarters of Rajasthan Technical University. The institute was established in 1981, by Govt. of Rajasthan and was named as Engineering College Kota. The institute is now constituent college of Rajasthan Technical University. Only the top rankers of Rajasthan Pre Engineering Test (RPETEAP) can get admission in this renowned institution.
