" If you are visiting Ooty and wondering how to plan the tour or what all to visit, my recommendation is to keep Pykara as the last destination or last day because it will the best day in you Ooty trip. Among all the other places on the road to Pykara, the main attraction Pykara lake and boat tour is one of the best things of the visit. My recommendation is the 10 sitter boat, even when your group is small, there will be other people in the queue having the same thought. All you need to do is reach out and share you ride. And then sit down buckle up and enjoy. Don't forget to click pics. "

" What an experience of boating in Pykara Lake. Lake is huge with hills all around, water is clean. Wind speed is too high which is enjoyable.
Rates are bit high with a boat of 8 person for 840Rs. Speed boat charges are around 800Rs for 2 person which is too high.
There are eateries Around it but don't have much options.
Parking is not organized. Have to park anywhere u find place.
Boating experience was exceptional. Definitely must try. "
