There is a Subway connecting the Railway Station to the Airport across the Road. But during rainy season, the Subway may get submerged and there may be waist deep water.
It is a Small Station serving mainly the Airport. There is a Ramp. So We can pull our luggage without having to carry. Nice Transport Arrangement "

At 7min walk from Domestic arrival bay you get to reach this station that can take you to Tambaram, Central or any part at just 5 bucks on local train.
Don't get Uber Ola or auto use only train from Chennai airport.
Cheap effective faster. "

" Perfectly located for air passenger to/from Chennai central
Direct locals are available frequently for Chennai Park which is opposite central station.
Cost too is real cheap in comparison to cabs. Railway charge just RS.5 for 30mins whereas you have to pay 200-300 for cabs to central which can take upto 2 hours "

" Tirusulam connects Sub-urban Railway to Airport. Airport is around 10 minutes (with Luggage) walk from Station. Subway connects Station to Airport but be cautioned the place gets slippery. Station is quite picturesque with beautiful Hill on one side and Airport to the other. "
