Jersey Ishinryu Karate, the Club was originally established in 1983 by Sensei Peter Dennis 6th Dan and was then based at the Lido de France, Fitness Centre.

The Club is now based in the Oakfield Sports Centre, Wellington Hill, St Saviour, Jersey. Our Chief Instructor is Sensei Paul McNamee, 5th Dan. We train both adults and children from the age of 6 years.

Jersey Ishinryu is a member of the Ishinryu Karate Association and the English Karate Federation. The Head of our Association is Sensei Ticky Donovan 9th Dan OBE. We arrange annual visits to the UK to train with Sensei Donovan and other senior Ishinryu Instructors.
