The Career Advancement Programme (CAP) is an educational opportunity offered through the Jamaican Foundation for Lifelong Learning (JFLL) by the Ministry of Education (MoE). The programme provides youth (16-18yrs) with access to free education and training that will help them to get a career.
OBJECTIVES OF THE PROGRAMME:
1. To acquire grade 9 level education
2. To gain a passing mark in HEART/NTA Entrance exam
3.To establish pathway that will take the learner from where they are to where they want to go
3. To provide the learner with an opportunity to improve himself in a caring environment
GOALS OF THE CAP PROGRAMME:
1. To acquire functional literacy and numeracy
2. To prepare individuals for further academic and career studies
3. To prepare individual for the World of Work
