Our Mission as a Catholic Educational Institution sponsored by the Sisters of Mercy is to instill in all our students those educational, cultural and spiritual values which will enable them to contribute, not only to the economic development of our society but to minister to the welfare of the poor, sick and uneducated in our midst and thereby continue the Mission of Jesus. The Convent of Mercy Academy 'Alpha' must play a role in establishing those policies, strategies and plans that will foster the development of valued-centered education in the Roman Catholic Tradition and in the formation of habits of critical thinking thus preparing our students to model Mercy and Justice and an enduring concern for the poor.
