MINISTRY BACKGROUND


Twelve years ago the mission began in Moneague. It was a shared vision with D. Wilks and Rev. Robert Williams of Ocho Rios New Testament Church. Prayer meetings were then held at the home of the Gayles with Simone Reid and Bro. Binns.

On April 1, 2005, a National Crusade was held for two weeks, to launch church services, where one soul was saved, services were then convened in a classroom at the Moneague T.C. Basic School. Sunday services continued with Pastor and Sis. D. Wilks until October 31, 2008 when the reins of leadership shifted from the Ocho Rios District of New Testament Churches to the Linstead District of New Testament churches, with Bishop Ruel Robinson as its Overseer.
Pastor Neville Small was appointed as its pastor with eight members, which grew exponentially to 148 members within five years. Bless God.

In May 2011, we relocated from the Basic School to erect a tent on community lands first used for the April 2005 crusade, and in May 2014, we moved to an adjacent property where workdays were established to clear the land. Rallies, donations and sacrificial offerings, allowed for the pavement of the property, acquisition of three (3) 40ft. containers, and construction of our restroom.
At the end of January 2016, Bishop Small resigned his secular job to devote full-time service to the work of God. Glory be to God! Fasting Services since then have exploded as persons from far and near have attended these services to receive their own personal blessings, deliverance healing and breakthrough and salvation. God be magnified!
Our building has not yet been erected however, we have since built an office space for our Bishop, acquired a Tuck Shop, erected an outdoor kitchen and strengthened the tent. Landscaping of the premises continues with the planting of palm trees and the erecting of a perimeter fence.
Three years after we are still worshipping on said property with a membership of over 180 believers. Several ministries have evolved under Bishop Small’s leadership, namely, Pastoral Care, Junior Officers, Lifebuilders, Ladies Ministry, Youth Ministry, Children Ministry, Prayer ministry, Ushers, Hospitality, and Housekeeping.
On June 2016, Bishop Small launched “Breaking the Chains Ministry”, when we commenced airing services by way of Facebook Live. Since then persons from all walks of life have been tuning in and are being blessed, delivered, converted, set free from demonic chains to the Glory of God. Testimonies have been pouring in to attest to the effectiveness of this ministry through the supernatural life-changing power of God on these telecasts. It is our intention to continue using this and other media to reach the lost at all costs. We have partnered with individuals and groups to enhance this venture and implore you to support us.

On Wednesday, July 12, 2017, our pastor was ordained as Bishop much to our delight and to the Glory of God!
