You need a route taxi to get there, but the place has a pool, a garden bar and BBQ, and the owner knows of good spots to find on the shore "

" Merely got the job done. They seem to keep the controls of the air conditioner hidden, so nights were ridiculously sweltering. Pool was murky. Windows don't have a screen and they don't make an effort to control mosquitoes, so I got over 20 bites in one night. Pillow was stained yellow and rooms were crusty. No soap or towel provided. TONS of flies and fruit flies in kitchen. Floors were a mess. Wifi was reliable and has access to excellent beach front (but is not walking distance from the hostel itself). About 15 min walk to the nearest main road. "

" Fun and relaxing time at the Bird's Nest! You will enjoy the private beach and warm pools! This nice Villa Hostel met my minimal traveler needs but offered alot for everyone. I stayed much longer than most and it felt like I was there for months!!!
The lush and fruiting garden was a nice surprise offering fresh tropical fruits and veg each morning. The Host, Sister Julia was a terrific help and had all the information I needed about the area.
The villa's located in a safe and private area but has walking distance shops and markets or just use
the abundant cheap route taxi's!
