" The location saves this hotel from a 2 star rating. It takes less than 5 minutes by foot to the Nagano Station. Could make it in 3 minutes if you walk fast. There are plenty of restaurants in the area as well as a decent hotel restaurant with good service. No English speaking staff available if that is important to you. My biggest issue is the beds. My mother fell from her bed as it was slanted. They provide you with one hard pillow and one blanket. Heat is on full blast in early October. Recommended for those who use their hotel room as a base rather than to relax. "

We were on the 7th floor, facing the station. Very loud street including non-stop pedestrian crossing song at the main intersection. Hard to sleep with that noise. "
