" Hotel Kisoji has a camping ground, believe it or not. It is geared up for donestic campers with cars and it is by far the most expensive camp ground in Japan. A normal site costs ¥5000+, a small site ¥2800. The toilet block is the worst i have seen in japan, but the onsen makes up for most of it. It is still cheaper to camp here than to stay at a hotel or ryokan, but if you have the option of finding another camp ground, then do that. I was here mid November and all other camsites were closed "
