風のお陰で洗濯物の乾きは早いですが、焚火などの火の粉の行方について注意が必要ですので、ご参考まで。
サイト自体はフリーサイトで空いてさえいればどこにでもテントを張れますが、水捌けのいい場所はそんなに多くないので場所選びは慎重に。比較的ペグの刺さりは良いですが、松の根が結構張り巡っているのでペグダウンの際にはご注意を。（抜くことの出来ない鍛造ペグが何本か刺さったまま放置されていました）
湖は遠浅で水質も良く、子供でも安心して遊ばせることができます。
