" The rooms were spacious. The bath was awesome. The lounge area was a great place to meet people and eat your meals. It was great that they provided free tea and coffee. The only thing I was not impressed with was the rule that you could not eat or drink in your rooms. I did it anyway... :p "

" Magome is a wonderful little place and this ryokan is everything good with it. You feel the history, you have a view across a vast forest and valley from your window, and food that is both good and makes you feel refreshed. "

" Very nice authentic Ryokan (Japanese hotel) and a beautiful location. All facilities are quite new and clean. The staff is friendly, helpful and fluent in English. One disadvantage is the price. "
