" Of all the Stations i visited on my Japan trip this one was the worst. It is dirty and opens on to a street teeming with drunks. Walking west you will pass a group of men drinking beer all day as it is dispensed from a vending machine near the 24 hour store. You may watch as visitors to the store throw still lit cigarettes to the ground and spit right in the doorway. The street area out the front of the station is frequently visited by the police cars. I would not recommend you stay in this area as there are many better options. There is nothing positive to say about this station or the streets around it. "

" Strongly recommend this route to Kansai airport. Much cheaper compare to JR line.
The only down side is during interchage there are 2-steps staircase you have to carry your heavy luggage along because I didn't see any lift facility around.
A 2-steps staircase will save you nearly 2000 yen (compare to JR line) per person is worth. Ignore this comment if you are taking premier flight. "

" 南海と環状線、阪和線及び大和路線の乗り換えならこの駅で。ただし、南海とJRの乗り換えは階段のみです。車椅子の人は駅係員に知らせると対応してもらえます。地下鉄の動物園前も近いんですが、距離があるのでオススメはしません。 "
