CPV's mission is to establish village-level loan hubs, administered by and for local women, to provide capital, training and support services to rural women in the lowest income brackets in Kenya-Busia so that they can engage in income producing activities and use their business profits to improve household living conditions for themselves and their families.CPV makes affordable, collateral free loans available to impoverished women to help them develop and grow micro-businesses that generate income they can use for basic family needs, education, healthcare, and savings. Our aim is for CPV borrowers to accumulate assets, improve the standard of living and opportunities for their households, and help spur local, economic development by hiring employees and creating community wealth.CPV works with women on a village- level scale in very rural areas of Kenya i.e. Busia that have primarily business-based economies. This is a region where roads are dilapidated, distances are great and transport is expensive.
