CHALLENGES
I. Lack of full school uniforms especially the shoes and pullovers & inability by some of the parents to purchase required school uniform
II. Learners doing their homework without parents’ supervision.
III. Delay in school fees payment leading to learners being sent home for the fees balances.
IV. Negative perception of a male figure in the E.C.D class.
V. Floods
VI. Learners coming to school extremely early (6:10 am) or very late (past 9:00 am).
VII. Parents sending sick students to school knowingly so as to go to work.
VIII. Lack of stationary especially text books for primary school learners.
IX. Poor parenting – learners using abusive language and claiming to have learnt it from parents.
X. Child labor- Learners being left with their younger siblings for several days/weeks while their parents go to work-especially during the coffee season.
