" This is a great place to visit while in Kisumu City. The breeze from the lake is soothing. However, the place has been neglected by the Kisumu County government. How can there be no toilet in such a place? Quite unacceptable. "

" Great place to chill and watch the sun set over the Lake Victoria. Though you have to lease seats for kshs. 50 and enjoy the view. I enjoyed my time. There is always a huge crowd on Sundays. People bring their own music. Downside: there are no public restrooms. You pee in the bush. "

" I used to go quite often to watch the beautiful sunsets, also I've seen hippos here a number of times which was very cool, but yeah on the weekends it's sorta the place where the more well to do people go to hang out and drink beer.... it's a nice place to go see the lake but usually a crowd and beggars are around which is annoying.
So if you want to go when it is peaceful choose the first of the week. "
