" For the excessive room rate of 40 USD incl. breakfast the narrow rooms are very poor, but fully functional and clean to an europan level.
When I visited, longer reconstruction works happened, so the upstorey rooms were only reachable via a narrow emergency stairs like in a lighthouse. Main entrance was closed.
It was a struggle taking heavy baggage to the 3. storey (no lift as common to Kenya). Nobody helped.
Loud inside noise of long strong rains during rainy season.
A pro: Staff is friendly.
In general, Machakos is an overcrowded, overprized, noisy city. For accomodation I recommend one of the beautiful country spots. "

" WiFi is only meant for in house and conference guests. Those only interested in the restaurant services are not entitled to WiFi access. They are less of customers it seems. "
