" A meeting place with the extra chatter and hooting in town. Central location for town meetings. Pocket friendly and no hustles associated with dedicated meeting places "

" Situated at the centre of Nairobi's Central Business District. Has a good restaurant serving both local cuisine and continental. The Nairobi National Park is not far as well. "

" An Iconic place and meeting point for most Kenyans. If you are always telling people to meet you at ambassadeur but end up at the metal rails at the entrance, then you need to go in to the hotel itself. There are some antique pictures and paintings which remind you of the mountain Era. I think they date to the early 1900's. There hotel space is good and it's not congested as most of the hotels in the city, you don't have to ask someone to move or push their chair forward so you can leave. It's unexpectedly quiet and calm considering the fact that it's next to a bus stop.
Even though I had to wait for almost 20minutes before a waiter could take my order and almost an hour to get my food,
I'd definitely go back. "

" Good place if you're on transit .....centrally placed with commuter buses to the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport near the hotel entrance. Service is good but the food is not what I expected. Being at the centre of town its quite noisy with a lot of air pollution from the vehicles. As I said earlier , good for one night travellers. A bit expensive. "

" Nice place, centrally located in Nairobi town. Good for group meetings. There are two bars and a restaurant. Quite cozy and quiet enough to have a decent conversation. Great kebabs and wide variety of food on the menu. Service can be slow sometimes depending on the waited you get. They don't use mpesa... Best to have cash with you if coming in. "

" Don't make a mistake and forget ANY thing in the hotel rooms. First you will be grilled as though you are a con, second you will get your property tampered with. And when you ask to see the manager, you will be lied to that she is not around. And the house keeping lady is the most arrogant I have met in the hotel industry.
Funny when you are checking in how warmly you are welcomed to a room with no drinking water etc. My experience with these guys has been the worst so far.
But I must see the manager because I need my data.
:-( "

" Very crowded and noisy. This is where Nairobi converges, from the Matatus, hawkers, street boys, passer bys etc. Yoh can learn alot about Nairobi from this spot if it is your first time in Nairobi. If you hate crowds, avoid it. "

" One of the best situated hotels in the CBD where you can sit on the top deck and eye level see the famous Nairobi Archives which is one of the protected buildings by the museums of Kenya "

" Located within CBD and sandwiched between Moi Avenue and Ronald Ngara Road. The hotel is well know to city dwellers as it's one of the places that act as a meeting point if people were to meet in town.In its environs there are a number of passages pick off point and drop off point.Outside the hotel there is parking but mostly the parking is usually full as a number of tax cab park at the parking.Opposite Ambassador hotel entrance is the Kenya Archives building and this area is always busy and moderate noisy as people criss cross the city "

" The staff are excellent, from the security to the waiters in the restaurant. I do appreciate the fresh juices. Yes, this place is seriously aged, lost on the marvel of its heyday some 20-30 years ago. It's a shame because of how prime its location is. It's in dire need of an update in literally every aspect. I hope there can be a serious investment in revamping this place, especially the restaurant, considering it sits nicely elevated, with prime views in most directions out into downtown. If I win the lottery, I'll be buying this building myself. "

" The hotel is located in a super crowded area. The Kencom bus stop and several discotheques in the CBD just makes it hard to have a peaceful night here. Although it is location is good, the good old glory may be gone. The best part of this hotel may be a great meeting place to discuss business. "

" Located in the ever busy nairobi city. Local Buses and taxis keep making noises that can be heard even in the rooms. The hotel itself is cleanly kept and has an air of elegance within the locality. Pricing is not so expensive but is also not cheap as others around. however it is moderately priced "

" One of the oldest hotels in the city sandwiched between moi Avenue and Tom Mboya street. The hotel has moderate services thus pocket friendly. "
