A restaurant that sees the unseen and provides opportunities for a gainful livelihood. Ayira's café has been specifically setup to invite, accept and include people with neurological disabilities and developmental delays into everyday life, accommodating their neuro disability just like we would any other physical disability.Our identity is solely based on neurodiversity and inclusion. We are building an environment and a society where Ayira and her peers will be able to contribute to society at the maximum of their abilities.Most of our staff is made up of adults with neurological disabilities who refuse to give up on life and stay hidden away at home. We want to offer a platform for not only the few we employ, but also far beyond by role modelling how Kenya has started to embrace and accommodate neurodiversity in the workplace.
