There are conmen on the loose.They are calling people disguised as bank customer care agents.They pretend to be upgrading mobile banking services & they ask for sensitive details including ID,DATE OF BIRTH,SIMCARD PIN,M-PESA PIN,PIN OF ALL YOUR ACCOUNTS CONNECTED TO MOBILE BANKING.After which they tell you to switch off your phone & switch on again.If you do this,your simcard becomes INVALID.The result is that they have replaced your line and are now in full control.They can transfer money from your accounts to your mpesa and withdraw.be careful guys,dont give out you personal data,january is approaching & we have to pay bills & school fees for our kids!!
