East Africa (ITPC- EA) established in 2005 is a Nongovernmental organization(NGO) Coalition that works to advance treatment challenges preparedness facing people living with HIV(PLWHIV) in East Africa (Eritrea, Djibouti, Sudan, Somalia, Ethiopia, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda and Zanzibar) through treatment, prevention, care, support and capacity development programmes; and is one of
the 11 regions in the world that form International Treatment Preparedness Coalition (ITPC) Global.
