The shuttle service system is becoming unsustainable so far. There has been a decrease in the number of subscribers to this system over time. The operators are of the idea that the system be done away with because its operational is almost impossible with the little number of subscribers. Whats your take on this?

Dear comrades, we regret and strongly condemn the unfortunate incident that happened at the students annex resulting to the loss of life of one of our comrades, Vincent Kiplagat. The late Kiplagat was a 5th year Engineering student who died at the hands of a rogue administration police officer. We thank comrades for their quick response that saved us from more casualties when they contained him. The management has assured that it is taking firm action on the perpetrators and... that justice is done and seen to be done. We look forward to the security department being more sensitive to student safety and security. We thank you for the peace and calm that you have portrayed so far. Let us give our colleague a honorable send off by mourning him with dignity as we work with the family on burial preparations.

Dear comrades, we salute you all trusting that you are well. This is to put the record straight hoping that some of you if not all of us already have the facts right. The IEBC materials found at the BSSC on Friday, March 15th like jackets , stamps ,marker pens, ballot boxes and papers used during the mock elections were rightfully there. Kenyatta University served as a tallying center and the materials so found were used during the mock elections. BSSC Room 14 has been serv...ing as an IEBC warehouse warehouse from the 22nd February to 15th March 2013. There was unrest at BSSC that later spilled on to Nyayo zone which resulted in attacking of Nyayo 1 Hostel, Mess and tuck shops. Comrades were beaten by colleagues and their personal effects taken. This was not right because the actions were outrightly bordering crime. We request all comrades to observe peace and stability in the University so that program mes can run smoothly. As KUSA, we are appealing to students to avoid behaviour that may may lead to decisions that may inconvenience or be costly to us. Consequently, we urge comrades to exercise restraint and keep peace. God bless you all. God bless Kenya.

Dear comrades, just to put it clear about Campus Vue. Its a fact we are having so many challenges with the new system. Remember any new system must have challenges in the begginning. Campus Vue is an international data management system that has more than 100 variables which need to be harmonised to fit the needs of the university. The ICT consultants are working on the system to ensure that all this is completed within the shortest time possible. I urge you to be patient as the system will be fully operational soon. Let us avoid the very negative comments we are placing all over in the social media about the system. This is doing us no good as a university. Lets be patient, it is going to run efficiently ASAP.

Hello comrades, we make it clear to you that the on going rumour of a death of a comrade in one of the hostels is not true. There is no student who has died in any of our hostels. However, there is a student who passed on at her home. We will keep you updated on this.
