United Nations Kenya Local Expatriate Spouse Association - UNKLESA - is an association creating a network of spouses ofUN international staff members based in Kenya to find support for their employment and career concerns and interests.

UNKLESA is part of an international network of UN Local Expatriate Spouse Association (UNLESA's) around the world.

UNLESA was launched by the the United Nations to encourage and promote the employment of expatriate spouses, both within and outside the UN system.

UNKLESA has been in existence since September 2004 by initiative of the Kenya UNCT (United Nations Country Team), following recommendations of the UNDG Joint Guidance Note on Employment of Expatriate Spouses.
