Wanda Organic Ltd is a start-up for-profit social enterprise set up specifically to focus on soil health in Africa. They are starting by importing and marketing recently developed organic bio-fertilizers into the Kenyan market, raising awareness about the numerous benefits of such solutions, and building demand for them. They are doing this with the aim of ultimately setting up local production facilities in various regions in Kenya and East Africa, where they have secured the exclusive rights for the technology (including Zambia and Malawi), and systematically building up a distribution network across the region together with a customer-focused promotion, marketing and sales program.
