WiCoDeP a community based organization located in Witu Ward, Lamu West Sub County, Lamu county. The CBO is headed by a catholic nun and is under the many projects supervised by the Franciscan missionaries of St Joseph headquarters in Nairobi. It was initially called Tuvumiliane HIV and AIDS project established the year 2005. It was rebranded to WiCoDeP CBO the year 2021 to respond to different needs in the community. The organization works mostly with the people living with HIV and AIDS and with the new brand name, responds to vulnerable population of women, children and youths. It has been partnering with other organizations and stakeholders like Misean Cara, Global fund via the Kenya Red Cross Society to implement a HIV grant on 90-90-90 cascade that just ended.
