Like MCCA Women and MCCA Men, the umbrella organisation for all youth groups, youth fellowships, youth choirs, and other youth organisations, at the Connexional level will be MCCA Youth. Through this organisation the voice of the youth of the Church will have a place at all levels of the Church's administration. It will also mean that the voice of the youth from the Caribbean and the Americas will also have a place in international Methodist and Christian youth forum.

Every four (4) years the youth of the MCCA gather for the Youth Encuentro. This first occurred in Barbados in 1998 when approximately 500 young people from every District in the MCCA gathered for a time of worship, training, reflection, education and fellowship. In 2002 the second Encuentro was held in Antigua and in 2006 the third Encuentro was held in Jamaica. The fourth Encuentro was held in the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago in July 2010.

The 5th Youth Encuentro will be hosted by the Leeward Islands District, (St.Kitts Circuit) July 21th –30th 2014, under the theme, ”.


Who Should Attend?

A warm invitation is extended to the young people of the Methodist Church in the Caribbean and the Americas, ages 15-25 to the 5th Youth Encuentro.
