" This hotel have a few things to enjoy. I love the spa which is very relaxing and also pocket friendly for the locals. My experience at the spa was amazing! Customer service was awesome! I love the convienence of the Casino & lounge for entertainment. Awesome restaurants and great tasting food to suit your taste buds from pizza right up to steak. The buffet BreakFast is a must!! Also you have the best of both worlds with access to the pools and the ocean in one place. Love it!! "

" I'll simply start with the bad, because it wasn't terrible, however there were a couple amenities that were not provided as advertised. The whirlpools were not heated, and the golf course was closed for aeration. During the welcome email after booking the resort, and getting the list of things to do, the resort should've told us about some of the closures.
With that said, the rooms and service were great. The resort was pretty clean, almost spotless. People everywhere saying hello! It was off season (June), so the area was very quiet and relaxing.
I would definitely recommend! Just remember, it's island time, so simply relax and don't rush!!! "

" The beach and stuff were great , i just think it needs a little more warmth customer friendly wise. Another elevator to the other side of the hotel would be nice too. Also casino says no smoking....went in and yours drowning in smoke. Internet for the rooms could have been dealt with differently....every hotel today has free WiFi no hassle. But property is OK. Room attendant also could have done a better job...changing my sheets / leaving some milk/ cleaning the bath tubs / leaving me a floor mat/ cleaning the carpets which i left clean by the way n went back it all dirt n smelly. Food was great too , i can give that. So nit all bad. "

" Overall a great experience with a few minor issues. First, the staff were all amazing, happy to assist. The room was well kept and up to date, only real complaint was we didn't have hot water and it took 4 attempts to fix the problem. While I was there they were working on a few things (a small pool and surrounding tile and a pirate ship), while this took away from the experience I was glad to see them updating instead of letting things fall apart so I didn't look negatively on this. The only real criticism would be all the medical students using all the tables to study every day. I would highly recommend this hotel and this island. St. Kitts is a wonderful place to visit, it is on my list to visit again soon. "

I don't remember the name but it is close to the beach and it gets sand blown off the beach and into the restaurant. It irritates my eyes and gets in the food. Other than that I love the hotel. "

" Good views. Terrible service. Overpriced food. They play incredibly loud and stupid Reggae music all day at the pool. Like think of the dumbest American music you can imagine and multiply it by 5. They do work with power tools by the pool during the day. When we checked in we upgraded our room and they said they would give us a $150 credit. When we checked out the guy at the desk of course had no idea what we meant. "

" Best place to hang-out in the island. They have huge, long, and clean beach with a reef to ameliorate waves.
This is perhaps the biggest hotel in the Caribbean.
The gym is excellent: has all the equipment you'd like, and the temperature is just right for those who like to be able and break a sweat.
The pool is great. Has several restaurants.
There is free wifi in general areas, but for rooms you must pay or have a Marriott membership.
The hotel is built to allow just the right amount of breeze through the general indoor areas, which is very pleasant.
The staff is professional and friendly as expected in this line of hotels, and is an exception to Caribbean businesses. Just don't expect cleaning ladies to have the same politeness. "

" We really enjoyed our stay in one of the two bedroom villas. Though a little dated, it was very comfortable. There are also several amenities to enjoy, including three pools and the beach. They also featured a nice selection of restaurant options, though I wish the prices were a little more family friendly (with three kids, the bill adds up quickly). Best of all, the staff was friendly and courteous, always there to help when needed. We would love to return someday, hopefully sooner than later! "

We had an ocean view suite on the top floor which was very nice. The grounds and facility are very well maintained. Even though it's on the Atlantic side, the waves are not large, the hotel installed rocks which help break the waves and give kids an area to snorkel in.
Food connoisseurs will not be overly impressed (this holds true for the island in general), the restaurants on site are decent but not exceptional. Some people commented that the prices were expensive, but this is a nice resort and it didn't seem unreasonable. Still, service was friendly at every place we dined at on the resort.
There were some activities, but not a lot of family things on site to do besides the pool and Beach.
The Marriott is at this point the nicest and most family-friendly Resort on the island. "

" Beautiful hotel with a gorgeous pool and water front view. It has an attached casino and very well appointed rooms. Get a beach view! There is also a shuffle board court and water breaks to allow for snorkeling in the ocean. The halls and elevators are looking a bit dated and the ceiling tiles need to be replaced in some parts of the restaurant but apart from that it's top notch. "

" Not impressed but no major complaints. Unfortunately, the food and drinks were overpriced for what you get. Much better f&b elsewhere on the island. Rooms need renovation.... which has started in the main lobby. Front desk and lobby staff were excellent during check-in. I expected more from this highly reviewed Marriott. Oh and please stop running people over with golf carts. "

We stayed at a villa which had big rooms and a great kitchen. Kids had plenty of space to spread out and the balcony had a great view looking out onto both the pool and ocean.
Beach had a lot of seaweed (I think more a hazard of the time of year, rather than anything about the location itself) but few rocks and nice sand. Lots of chairs and umbrellas. Once you got past the vegetation, there was some pretty decent snorkeling for that close to shore. We even saw some sea turtles.
Overall it was a great experience and everything about the resort was beautiful. Highly recommend it. "

" This was our first time in St.Kitts and we discovered it is a beautiful island with extremely friendly people! I find these reviews very helpful so I decided it was time to write one my self.
The Marriott Resort....beautiful grounds and beach but very over priced for food ($21.00 for 2 teas and bowls of cereal!) absolutely ZERO effort put into entertainment on the grounds so better bring cards or something to keep you occupied at night. I don't go on vacation to sit in my room and watch TV...I can do that t home thanks!
Food....eat locally, you will love it and save you tons of money. Breakfast walk 5 minutes and go to "Rituals"! Local cafe..delicious food, friendly people and great prices ( $21.00 gets you 2 teas, fruit cup, 2 full breakfasts...bacon, eggs, pancakes...you name it!) Dinner...got to try "Cathy's" a 20 minute walk to Frigate Bay. Great local restaurant....awesome ribs! Other restaurants there too. Don't just go to the ones close to the hotel...explore...its worth it! "Marshalls" restaurant is a must...AMAZING view, service and food!
SITES.... take the ferry and go spend a day on Nevis! Beautiful island...." untouched jewel" as the locals say! Get adventurous and climb the volcano...worth the effort and view. Book with "ONeil" he's been hiking it for 37 years...great man who loves his island and is both knowledgable as well as inspiring! Check out the Brimstone Fort too!
One last thing...Taxis! Be prepared to walk a lot! I understand they make a living doing this but $12.00 for a less then 5 minute drive is a bit pricey! Bring those running shoes!
Overall...relaxing vacation, beautiful island, amazingly friendly people! Just hope the Marriott ups their game a bit before our next visit! "

" This is the best vacation I've ever had, beautiful beaches and the reef off the beach by the hotel is amazing, teaming with life. The beaches sound like windchimes because of all the shells tossing and turning in the turf as it crashes onto the beach. I put a small bucket into the crash g wave and brought home shells that are now a windchill reminder to me. Incredible place. "
