"University Medical Center" Corporate Fund was founded pursuant to the decision of the board of trustees of the autonomous organization of education "Nazarbayev University" dated 20 September 2015.The Mother and Child Center UMC is the largest multidisciplinary hospital in the field of obstetrics, gynecology, urology, pediatrics, neonatology, IVF and pediatric surgery, providing about 60 types of highly specialized medical care to women, pregnant women, women in labor, and children under 18 years of age. The bed capacity comprises 475 in-patient beds.The Diagnostic Center UMC specializes in providing consultative and diagnostic medical care to adults and children using the latest technologies and evidence-based medicine in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases. The clinic performs 500 out-patient ambulatory examinations per shift. Highly qualified doctors in 46 specialties provide consulting assistance, including allergology, gynecology, mammology, pediatrics, neurology, uronephrology, fetal medicine and much more.UMC centers have been reaccredited according to the standards of Joint Commission International (JCI), a prestigious international certification in the field of healthcare. UMC clinics are a part of the integrated academic healthcare system of Nazarbayev University (NU Medicine).
